Quality Assurance Inspections

Confirm all work has been completed in accordance with building consent plans, as each stage is completed in the project, and report back on findings, as well as any action items that may need to be addressed.

Project Defect Reports

Upon completion of the project, we carry out an extensive review of the building, identifying cosmetic and structural items that have not been completed to an acceptable standard,  represent this to the customer in order to get the work completed to the right standard.

Third Party Assessments

Independent payment milestone assessment of a project before the release of funds to the contractor undertaking the works on the project.

Architectural Observation Reports

The purpose of this service is to safeguard architects to ensure that their design is being completed on site in accordance with the original signed off consented plans.

Pre-purchase Inspection Reports

Residential Service – Identify any concerns from a building integrity perspective (including maintenance) that the potential purchaser may need to consider prior to the purchase of the property. Recommend ways to remedy and potential costs associated with this.

Commercial Service – To ensure the building is fit for its purpose. This service will take into account the building’s design limitations, review Local Council property files, structural documentation, life safety features (building warrant of fitness specified systems) fire reports and identify any non-consented building work.

Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) Documentation Expert

Residential – supporting the homeowner through achieving CCC -If the home does not have one at the time of purchase or if it has been discovered post-purchase that CCC does not exist. This includes coordinating with local council building control authorities.

Commercial – supporting the building owner through the process of gaining CCC including rectification, modification, and updated building warrant of fitness.

Building Consent Exemptions

Building work that does not require a building consent assessment. Manage the Local Council applications process and ensure the relevant documentation is fit for purpose.

Accessibility Reports

The objective of this service is to ensure that the Commercial Building meets the New Zealand Standard NZS 4121 – Design for Access and Mobility – Buildings and Associated Facilities
The Accessible Report needs to be submitted with the Building Consent application.

Building Consent Agent Services

Working on behalf of the customer to ensure the building consent documentation is fit for purpose and liaising with local council through the consenting process.

Passive Fire Reports

Independent suitably qualified review of the fire systems of a building while under construction, report back on findings to building owners.
